Ecolab is a manufacturer of many support products for modern surgical procedures. Among these support products are the sterile drapes that are used to cover the arms of the Da Vinci surgical robots when being used during a surgical procedure. These covers need to be sealed and cut to a specific shape, and this is accomplished on the machine shown above. This machine seals and cuts the material using a precision heated die system producing a clear plastic cover shown in the photo below on a Da Vinci surgical robot ready for an operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
