The Promarks VT400 and VT570 are modified atmosphere tray sealers that are designed for small – to medium-sized operations. By pulling a vacuum and inserting a pure gas mixture, the optimal shelf life can be reached for a wide range of products. Capable of accepting a variety of trays of all shapes and sizes, our machines can be built for your specific tray and film configurations. Vacuum, gas, and seal times can all be easily adjusted via the fully programmable digital control board. For added reliability, we only use Busch USA vacuum pumps on all of our modified atmosphere tray sealers.

What are the electrical requirements of the VT-400 tray sealer?
The machine requires 220V, 50/60Hz power supply.

What air pressure is needed for operation?
Compressed air requirement is 0.6 – 0.7 MPa with a stable supply.

Operation & Working

What packaging modes does the VT-400 support?

How does the sealing process work?
The machine lowers the mold, clamps the film, seals it using a heated plate, cuts excess film, and completes the cycle automatically.

What is the sealing temperature range?
Recommended sealing plate temperature is 120°C – 180°C.

What happens during vacuum packaging mode?
Air is removed from the chamber, then sealing is performed, and finally air/gas is restored to normalize pressure.

What is gas flushing used for?
Gas flushing replaces oxygen with protective gas to extend product shelf life.

Film & Packaging

How is film inserted into the machine?

Hi Promarks especially Rick Hird had been absolutely fantastic with his knowledge and contact accessibility with regards an intermittent fault on our 860 cryovac machine .
He has given direct contact/hands on advice from California to me in Albany , Western Australia our nearest promarks agent is 3500 kilometres away in Australia but don’t have the knowledge required for technical issues that we get from time to time .
Rick’s knowledge and help has resolved our problems and we don’t have this kind of service anywhere in Australia
Invest in a promarks machine their backup service is just exemplary

Been a longtime customer with them, our product (promark 80) has been extremely reliable considering we use the machine 8 hours everyday non stop. On the rare occasion's we do have an issue with machine they have been able to get someone out generally within a day to get it repaired. Desperate times when we needed it repaired during certain times of year, they have even made the effort to have their mechanic at our office at 4am to do a repair. 10/10 recommend them for product and customer service

I’ve personally dealt with Rick Hurd on behalf of my company since about 2004, regarding both service of my equipment as well as supply. Rick is not only extremely knowledgeable about my equipment and machinery, he is also very accessible. If he doesn’t answer my actual call, which he usually does, he returns it in a timely manner.

There have been times where we’re having an issue with equipment that needs to be dealt with immediately and Rick has been able to troubleshoot with me until resolution. I should probably mention my business is located on the East Cape in southern Baja California near the Cabo San Lucas area so it’s not like we can just call a technician who is ready at our convenience.

With that, we’ve always been able to obtain necessary parts for all of our equipment and machinery, as well as a steady supply of vacuum pouches with ease through both Rick, as well as his wife Amber. In short, top notch company, top notch people. I highly recommend Promarks, especially Rick and Amber Hurd!
